What to expect
Visiting a Chiropractor
As you enter Forward Chiropractors you will be welcomed by Dr Richard Pinto or Dr Sundhya Pinto. You will be shown to your seat and given paperwork to fill out (one page). Our paperwork is very important for your chiropractic health care as it provides us with your full health history. This way we can assess your overall health as a whole, rather than focusing on part of it.
First Visit: (45mins-1hr)
Since your nervous system controls every cell and organ in your body, and is responsible for your current and future health, it is essential we obtain a full, comprehensive health history. We will also perform a complete physical exam outlining your skeletal, muscular, neurological, and spinal function. You will also receive your first adjustment on this visit, depending on our findings. If our examination reveals the need for further tests (i.e. Xrays, Specialists, etc.) this can be arranged.
Second Visit: (20-30mins)
Your second visit is just as important as your first as this visit is used as a follow-up appointment, allowing the Chiropractor to assess the changes your body has made after your first adjustment. At this time your Chiropractor will also explain the findings from your physical exam, what impact this may be causing or may cause on your future health. We will also provide you with the most appropriate and efficient schedule of care for you and your path towards greater health and quality of life.
Third Visit: (10-15mins)
We are now getting a sense of how your body responds to care. This visit continues to help establish the changes within your body. Each visit from now takes a shorter amount of time but is just as important, as each visit builds on the one before.
